The Angaston Show has seen significant growth in participation in recent years, with more exhibitors, exhibits and businesses becoming part of the event.

Here are some of the numbers behind the Show.

Exhibitors and Exhibits

In 2021, the Angaston Show recorded:

219 exhibitors
1,039 exhibits

By 2026, this had grown to:

636 exhibitors
2,884 exhibits

The exhibits cover a wide range of sections, reflecting the skills and interests of the Barossa and surrounding communities.

Businesses

In 2026, the Show welcomed 98 trade sites, providing opportunities for local and regional businesses to connect with visitors.

Approximately 60% of trade sites were from outside the Barossa, bringing businesses and products from across the region to Angaston.

Exhibitors from across the region

The Angaston Show also attracts exhibitors from beyond the local area, with approximately 15% of exhibitors coming from outside the Barossa Council area in 2026.

Horses in Action

The Angaston Show’s three-day Horses in Action program also attracts strong participation.

In 2026 there were:

49 riders
102 horses
19 competitions
339 entries

Volunteers

Behind all of these numbers is a dedicated volunteer community. In 2026, 39 volunteers contributed to delivering the Show, supported by Executive Committee members, convenors and other community members.

Numbers only tell part of the story.

Every exhibit represents someone who decided to have a go. Every trade site represents a business connecting with the community. Every competition entry represents time, preparation and participation.

Together, these numbers reflect a Show that continues to grow while remaining grounded in community participation.

In 2027, the Angaston Show celebrates its 130th Show, providing another opportunity for the community to participate, compete, learn, create and connect.
